Professional-Coach
Beginners to Advanced children learn from the latest bio-mechanically researched, maximum participation methodologies. Our Professional Coaches are Trained to a very high standard. Sportsmax Pro-Coaches are of high character, pleasant personality and with appropriate teaching abilities. Normally the same coach conducts your weekly classes, however this cannot be guaranteed.

Your Own Term – Not a School Term
There are no common dates. Everybody just has there individual 10 week term. Fees are due before the start of the term.

Please note your Term Start Date quoted on your Invoice does not take into account your Free Introductory Lesson(s). Upon receipt of your payment, the term start date will be moved forward (if received on time).
Term payment must be made by the commencement of your term in order to claim any Term Credits/Extensions

Discounts
Second and each child thereafter receives a 10% discount on Coaching fees. Membership discounts and/or 20 & 40 week term discounts will not be applied on top of this discount.
Membership discounts and/or 20 & 40 week term discounts may however, be applied to the first child.

Absences
Single lessons missed are not extended. One-week absences can be made up during the current term by calling in advance and arranging two lessons during the following week. We do our best to accommodate and find a suitable time for a make-up lesson but cannot always guarantee a place can be found. Most of the time however, we find something available.

Or you could call us, before the lesson starts, informing us that you can not come in today, providing us with a reason. At the same time, we would be providing you with a credit, for the lesson you are going to miss out on.
If you intend being away for a while, 2 consecutive weeks or more, (e.g. holidays or injury), a leave of absence can be given with an equivalent extension to your coaching term. This is only possible if your current term is paid and if you phone our office beforehand. (Do not see the coach or phone after the event).

IMPORTANT: Term dates will only be extended for dates where the term is current and financial.

Wet Weather/Coach Sickness etc. Not Counted
All wet weather, when there is no coaching held, is added to the end of your term period. The coach does not remain and proceed with the lesson if he/she decides that the court is too wet or slippery and dangerous to use. In doubtful weather please do not drop off your child without first confirming that the coach is in attendance by coming in with your child and sighting the coach. If unsure about playability, it is best to go along to check since weather conditions and court drying capacity are often unpredictable.

Method of Payment
Payment must be made by cheque, money order, credit card (details can be mailed in or payment made over the phone). No cash payments to Coaches.

Late Payments
Payments must be made by the start of the new term. If payment is not made on time or an arrangement made by contacting the office beforehand, your child may be removed from the Class List, and the Coach will not allow the child to take part in the lesson.

Term extensions/credits (rain, coach sickness etc) will not be given if the term in which the lesson is called off, remains unpaid.

International Tennis Number (ITN) Rated Groups
Raw beginners learn fundamental motor skills which are later utilised to develop stroke production up to advanced and elite levels. Your child is often promoted into a higher standard group from time to time as they improve.

Your cooperation is sometimes necessary for a change in class, to maintain similar standards and ages, to fit in with coach availability or to balance class numbers.

Lesson Periods & Class Sizes
Classes have a maximum of 8 students per coach. From time to time an additional student may join a class as a one-off to complete a make-up lesson .Saturday/Weekday Tennis Classes does not run during Public School Holidays. Members are notified each Christmas period, which days Tennis will not be held. Members should call 1300 367 891 to check whether Coaching is to be held when a Public Holiday long weekend occurs.

Refund Arrangement
There are no refunds on a 10 week term, attended or not. However, there is a refund arrangement on the 20 week term after 10 weeks from the term commencement date. This is calculated pro rata over the whole period from the starting date as if the term had been taken as on the 10 weeks renewable basis. A certified letter must be received. For refund purposes only, extension periods count as if attending.

Sportsmax District & Inter-District Round Robins
This is available once sufficient improvement is achieved. Local District Round Robins are run regularly, with the finalists and top performers invited to represent their local District at the Sportsmax Inter-District Championships held at our elite development Centre at the Lidcombe Tennis Centre.

Cancellation Policy
Group Lessons: After booking in your child, written notice must be given of decisions not to continue in class. Term Fees are payable if notification not provided. Of course, if you feel your Child is ready to move into a higher standard class (where vacancies allow), call our office and one of our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.
Private Lessons: Cancellation must be given 24 Hours in advance of lesson to receive credit and term extension.
