When booking with us, students obtain a FREE introduction lesson to get a feel for the class, coach and the lesson structure. Following the free introduction, if the child wishes to continue, a simple payment is made for a child’s own ten-week term. Sick leave and/or make-up lessons are simply arranged by calling our centre where one of our friendly staff can assist the student/parent with term extensions and/or suitable make-up classes. Our full Term & Conditions are attached
Our Objectives are simple:
We aim to provide each and every child with a positive learning experience every single lesson.
We ensure that each child enjoys the benefits that come from tennis skill development, feels positively motivated and encouraged by our proven methods.
We believe that our methodology not only helps each student improve his/her tennis at the fastest possible rate, but also his/her specialization and life coping skills.
Our Parallel Component Learning System (PCLS) forms the basis of our teaching methodology, which allows our pro-coaches to deliver individually tailored lessons to students in a group environment, ensuring that all students enjoy their Sportsmax Tennis experience.
Our PCLS Delivery System means that students focus on individual components of the stroke at a time. In other words, the primary focus is on PROCESS rather than the final OUTCOME. So all students are rewarded regardless of the end result.
Incorporated into the Delivery System is what is known as ‘Sensory Overlapping’, which is the application of multiple senses, including the 6th sense of IMAGINATION (visualizing the outcome) to achieve heightened experience. Within the PCLS context, sensory overlapping is the use of another sense, besides the obvious one of sight, to enhance skill acquisition.
By overlapping sensory channels, we are forced to actively integrate unique but thematically similar cognitive channels. This process demands a high level of processing. Actively engaging in this task leads to more effective and sustainable outcomes.
